While today's computers are increasing in power, many lack the fast context switching capabilities to handle complex embedded I/O processing for high-throughput applications. Developers of medical imaging, video-on-demand, seismic exploration all require I/O protocol processing engines to handle adjunct data processing tasks - tasks that will overrun the host processor and slow the targeted application.

Inter-processor communication drivers are available for Windows XP and Linux 2.6 to speed application development. Board support packages are selectively available for Wind River System's VxWorks/Tornado environment. Cyclone Microsystem's ZeroCopy TCP stack is available to accelerate applications with small packet sizes.

For many of our major customers, our standard products are the launching point for the rapid development of customer/application specific boards and systems.
