PCI Express: Expansion Backplanes, Host Bus-to-Cable Adapters and Riser Cards
Cyclone Microsystems' PCI Express Expansion Series is a set of host adapters, cables, and expansion systems that allow embedded programs with intensive I/O requirements to couple cost-effective host PCs with a complex peer-to-peer capable I/O subsystem. The PCI Express Expansion Series operates independently of the host processor and the host operating system choice and can couple the system host to the expansion system at 40 Gbs/s (x16 PCIe) or 20 Gbs/s (x8 PCIe) in each direction. The PCI Express Expansion Systems provide three, four seven, eight, and fourteen additional slots for PCI Express I/O Controllers.

Our PCI Expansion Components, geared toward OEM projects only, includes Expansion Backplanes, Host Bus-to-Cable Adapters, and Riser cards. These products allow system developers to leverage our existing board-level products into application-specific products. Derivative and private label products are available for customer-specific applications. While we are not a standard "design-for-hire" custom-product development source, we have a proven record of readily and effectively modifying our standard products for production of customer-specific or private label products.
